GP-COVID daily (GPCD) - Legacy

Dataset

Documentation

Description:
The GP-COVID daily (GPCD) dataset is a legacy extract of general practice data. It contains coded clinical events recorded for patients, with the event date, a result value where applicable, and the coding version used. Patient records hold anonymised identifiers for the individual (ALF_E) and the GP practice (PRAC_CD_E), so the data can be linked to other datasets, including project-specific cohorts. Patient demographics include gender, week of birth, LSOA, registration category and an opt-out flag. The ALF match percentage and status code give the quality of the ALF matching. A practice periods table gives the start and end dates for which each practice supplied data. Time coverage may therefore vary between practices.
